  • Crashlytics, AdMob, Google Analytics, and Firebase: We use these third-party services to improve app stability, measure engagement, and may serve ads when configured. These services may collect certain device or usage information as per their own privacy policies.
  • Customer Support Emails: If you contact us at info@kodenation.com, we retain your emails indefinitely for support and record-keeping purposes.

2. What We Do Not Collect

  • We do not collect personally identifiable information (PII) directly through our source code.
  • We do not require login or social media authentication.
  • We do not provide chat features.
  • We do not outsource operations; all work is done in-house.
  • We do not send user-generated content to any backend servers. The app has no backend.

  • User-generated content is processed locally on the device and is not transmitted to any backend servers.
  • Since we do not collect PII, there is no risk of loss or theft of personal information through our app.

4. Use of Information

  • Analytics: We may use Google Analytics data to measure customer engagement and improve retention strategies.

7. Permissions Used by the App

To provide core functionality, the App requires the following permissions:

  1. CAMERA – To scan documents.
  2. VIBRATE – To provide haptic feedback when certain features are activated.
  3. READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE – To access created PDF documents and images captured with the app or import saved images directly from your gallery.
  4. WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE – To create PDF documents and images captured with the app or to delete saved PDF documents or images.
  5. ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE – To check network connectivity for integrated services.
  6. BIND_QUICK_SETTINGS_TILE – To allow adding a custom tile in Quick Settings for faster access.
  7. Prevent Phone from Sleeping – To keep the device awake during scanning operations.

8. Data Sharing and Transfers

  • We do not transfer personal information ourselves.
  • Third-party services (e.g., AdMob, Firebase, Crashlytics, Google Analytics) may store or process data on their servers.
